This was my first meeting with Valentina, an Italian model who had made Birmingham her home. It all began with a private message in my Instagram inbox—one I almost missed. Her natural presence immediately caught my attention, and after exchanging only a few messages, a shoot was quickly arranged. I arrived without a fixed concept. The studio was new to me, and light can never be fully predicted. I prefer to observe the space, follow the light and let ideas develop naturally in the moment.
